Report an Error or Suggest an Improvement
Chemistry Live is actively maintained, and every page is expected to hold up against a standard reference. If something is inaccurate, unclear, or out of date, this is the direct way to report it.
Report an Error
Found a mistake in a definition, derivation, equation, or reaction mechanism? Send the page link and a short description of the issue.

Have a clearer way to explain a concept, a missing topic, or a request for a branch to be expanded sooner? Suggestions are read and considered for upcoming updates.

What to include for a faster fix
- Page link — the exact URL of the page you’re reporting on.
- What’s wrong — the specific line, equation, or statement in question.
- Why — a brief note on what’s inaccurate or unclear, and, if you have one, a correct reference or source.
- Your role (optional) — student, teacher, or researcher — helps us understand context, but is never required.
Response time: Every report is read. Valid corrections are applied to the page directly —
there is no requirement to justify the correction beyond it being accurate. Not every message will
receive an individual reply, but the correction itself is the priority.
